2 Samuel 12:23

SV	Maar nu is het dood, waarom zou ik nu vasten? Zal ik hem nog kunnen wederhalen? Ik zal wel tot hem gaan, maar hij zal tot mij niet wederkomen.
WLC	וְעַתָּ֣ה ׀ מֵ֗ת לָ֤מָּה זֶּה֙ אֲנִ֣י צָ֔ם הַאוּכַ֥ל לַהֲשִׁיבֹ֖ו עֹ֑וד אֲנִי֙ הֹלֵ֣ךְ אֵלָ֔יו וְה֖וּא לֹֽא־יָשׁ֥וּב אֵלָֽי׃
Trans.	wə‘atâ\| mēṯ lāmmâ zzeh ’ănî ṣām ha’ûḵal lahăšîḇwō ‘wōḏ ’ănî hōlēḵə ’ēlāyw wəhû’ lō’-yāšûḇ ’ēlāy:

AC	כג ועתה מת למה זה אני צם--האוכל להשיבו עוד אני הלך אליו והוא לא ישוב אלי
ASV	But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he will not return to me.
BE	But now that the child is dead there is no reason for me to go without food; am I able to make him come back to life? I will go to him, but he will never come back to me.
Darby	But now he is dead, why should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he will not return to me.
ELB05	Nun es aber tot ist, warum sollte ich denn fasten? Vermag ich es wieder zurückzubringen? Ich gehe zu ihm, aber es wird nicht zu mir zurückkehren.
LSG	Maintenant qu'il est mort, pourquoi jeûnerais-je? Puis-je le faire revenir? J'irai vers lui, mais il ne reviendra pas vers moi.
Sch	Nun aber, da es tot ist, was soll ich fasten? Kann ich es zurückholen? Ich werde wohl zu ihm fahren, es kommt aber nicht wieder zu mir!
